Under Restraint: No Summary of Incident Summary of How the Death Occurred: (max. 30,000 characters) Summary: On December 28, 2019, deputies attempted to locate and arrest the decedent on an open murder warrant. Deputies located the decedent in a park and approached him. The decedent stood up from a bench and walked away from the deputies carrying a bag. A deputy shot the decedent two times from behind after he refused to stop. The decedent was transported to Ben Taub Hospital where he was pronounced deceased by an attending physician.
