Summary:
On May 26, 2026, law enforcement officers responded to the area of FM 1155 and SH 105 regarding a
suspect with a weapon in a white pickup. Officers spoke to the complainant, located the suspect vehicle, and
attempted to conduct a traffic stop. The suspect vehicle failed to stop. Officers pursued the fleeing suspect
vehicle. An officer unsuccessfully used his patrol vehicle as a tool to stop the vehicle. Other officers
successfully utilized spikes to deflate the suspect-vehicle's tires. The suspect vehicle drove off the roadway
and through a private fence. An officer used his patrol vehicle to strike and disable the suspect vehicle.
Officers approached the vehicle and discovered the suspect had shot himself in the head. Officers extricated
the suspect and administered medical care. The suspect was transported to the hospital where he was
pronounced deceased.
